Disney's Freeform celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a social media campaign called "Sana Season", a joy-filled social series where wellness-loving content creators gathered to celebrate their culture while learning one another’s healing modalities. As a teaser, they commissioned a series of illustrations developed in partnership with Hispanic artists and content creators in the space, covering elements of "espiritualidad" in cultures.
I was one of those artists! 💖
After interviewing friends + family and visiting my neighborhood botánica, I decided to illustrate these three items used in spiritual practices: Velita Mágica (Magical Candle), Baño Herbal (Herbal Baths), Agua de Florida (Florida Water).
