Poesía Boricua (Puerto Rican Poetry) is an illustrative celebration of my roots through reggaeton lyrics and Latin American slang, while mixing in other themes I absolutely love, like drag, anime, and anything geeky or theatrical. I often take this project on the road to artists' markets, where I sell merch of all kinds, including prints, stickers, tees, and totes.
Two pieces were also featured as part of the Jamaica Arts Center's show "An Afro-Latinx Mixtape". It was an honor to have my work live in an NYC gallery space along with other wonderful artists who also aim to celebrate their cultural backgrounds through art.
