Poesía Boricua is a graphic celebration of my culture powered by reggaeton Puerto Rican slang, tropicaleo, and Latine sass. It was born from the desire to celebrate my roots and love for everything Latine.
It is also a tribute to all the translations I've had to make for my Chicano partner and other Latinx friends. We are all fluent Spanish speakers, but our beautiful cultural differences have diversified the language in fun ways. And I'm 100% fluid in Puerto Rican 😉
